Play Based Learning
At BRECA we strive to expand on life's teachable moments. Play-based learning is a great way to achieve lifelong, engaged learning in children.
To further this mission, BRECA is focused on expanding our learning to outdoor classrooms starting in late 2024. Research shows connections to improved learning and behavior outcomes in children with routine access to the outdoors and nature. We are excited to offer more value to our students and families!
Inclusivity & Support
Each child learns and develops in their own way and time. We strive to support each child in the way they need. We focus on including sensory supports in all our classrooms. From sensory swings, tents, noise-canceling headphones, wiggles seats, and others, we prioritize having tools available for student success.
Additionally, we partner with High Desert Education Service District to offer children services while in class at BRECA. This coordination of care allows families to spend more time together, miss less time at work and creates opportunities for teachers to incorporate tools during class time.

Boulden Rogen Early Childhood Academy
At BRECA we offer over 25+ years of experience in Early Childhood Development. Our program is equipped with high-quality professionals who were hand-selected because of their commitment to early learning. They bring with them their abilities to enrich your child's growth and personal development. Many of Boulden Rogen Early Childhood Academy staff are bilingual. We encourage all languages in our center of care. Many of the teachers who speak both Spanish and English will use both languages with the children, embracing a deeper level of language learning.
We have programs that can fit many types of family needs. From partnership programs with the local Early Learning Hub to ERDC & Private Pay, and half-day options for those not quite ready for full days, we have a diverse group of families at the academy.
BRECA heavily invests in the professional development of our employees. We have ongoing community partnerships with COCC, Neighbor Impact, Childcare Resources, High Desert Early Learning, and more who provide high-quality, ongoing education for your child's teachers and aids.
We curate our classroom specifically to the developmental and sensory needs of your Child's age group. Our classrooms have low ratios to promote high-quality care of your child.
All sites are closed the week of winter break, spring break, and the 4th of July for staff to enjoy self-care and time with their families.
